About the Journal

Ilorin Journal of Education (IJE) is a broad based scholarly, referred, blinded peer-reviewed, yearly journal published by the Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. The journal seeks to bridge and integrate the intellectual, methodological, and substantive diversity of educational scholarship and to establish the link between educational scholars and policy makers. It publishes empirical research, from a wide range of traditions that contributes to the development of knowledge across the broad field of education which includes research, development, and practices in all area of education, including human development, school, training, formal, informal, basic education, tertiary, open and distance education, vocational education, industry and life-long learning. It is available both in hard copy and online.

Ilorin Journal of Education contains well-researched and mostly empirical studies covering a broad innovative issue in the teaching and learning processes and educational research. The edition is borne out of the need to address the gap in innovative educational research so as to give the best to learners especially the prospective teachers. Therefore, our collective effort is geared towards publication of improved driven researches. The articles were well-written by experienced scholars far and near within and outside the country. All articles received were processed through rigorous peer review system. Thus, contributors and readers are assured of thorough and efficient review process.
